Anne-Marie also covers in-depth solutions that allow publishing teams to link Microsoft Word and Google Docs to live InDesign layouts, allowing for concurrent design and editorial development. She presents detailed steps to set up and use an InDesign and InCopy workflow, so editors can open InDesign layouts in InCopy and write to fit. You’ll learn ways users can concurrently edit a file in Photoshop, Illustrator, Word 365, Google Docs, InDesign, and more. She shows best practices for local network servers, as well as for shared, local folders from Dropbox, Google Drive, OneDrive/SharePoint, and Creative Cloud files. You know a collaborative workflow can benefit your editing and design teams, but how do you set it up inexpensively and effectively? In this course, instructor Anne-Marie Concepción walks you through a number of free solutions that allow mixed-platform designers, writers, and editors to work concurrently on a single publication, whether they’re on-site or remote. We’re very happy to announce that our long-time friend, collaborator and world-class designer/trainer Anne-Marie Concepción of Seneca Design has released a course Collaborative Workflows for Editors and Designers on LinkedIn Learning, which includes two chapters respectively on getting started with WordsFlow and DocsFlow. A sharp pruner can cut through it just like any other branch. When the bamboo stalks are small and young, they can be cut easily. Watch this video to understand the different ways you can cut bamboo. Here are a few tools that can be used to cut bamboo depending on its size and age. It is very tough, and choosing the right tool is essential to make a good cut. Bamboo can deceive you with its smooth and soft looks. You may do the job with a handheld saw or require a powerful chainsaw.Īll tools have to be sharp and strong. Tools for cutting bamboo comes in a wide variety because it depends on how large or mature the bamboo plant is. You can make zigzag patterns or create a tree look by cutting them in specific ways. New leaves grow from where you cut, so it is easy to design a cut. It is also essential to make a good cut for the appearance. One off cut is alright, but if you cut it wrongly often, it may end up damaging the plant. Generally, you don’t have to be very precise while cutting because bamboo is a robust plant. The stalks will re-grow but not from the canes but the base. So, cutting a stand of bamboo will not completely eradicate it. The leaves help the roots by supplying energy, which results in new canes sprouting up. When you cut the top off a bamboo plant, new leaves keep growing from the cut but no new cane. See photo.Īt least considering four photos below, it shows not good printing. (3) Some pages show the wrong margin on left, which means pages are not properly used in printing or printing is not properly done. (2) The pages used in the copy I received are not of uniform size if we open some middle pages of the book, the right/ left edge of them do not lie below cover edge - which means pages are not of the same size. In the photo, see diagram of topologist's sine curve, and some other diagram photo. (1) The typing of the book is not following modern technologies perhaps many old tools have been used in typing because - for example, the line spacing is not uniform in the diagrams, the shading of a region is by many lines instead of uniform coloring, etc. Some little drawbacks are printing and quality of binding of the book. I was thinking that this book should be in everyone's library but, it is printed (at least my copy) in somewhat bad fashion. This is not about shipment or service of Amazon for the above of book, but this is about the quality of the item I received.įirst of all, the book is very well written and is incomparable with many classical books on the same subject from students view. |
